Unitechnik was commissioned as general contractor for the "Logistics Systems" package. The largest single unit in this package is the automatic small parts warehouse (AKL) for crockery. At the end of the dishwashing lines, the cleaned dishes packed in containers are identified at 4 feeding stations via image dialogs. The containers are automatically transported and stored in the small parts warehouse via lifts and roller conveyors. The crockery is retrieved as required in the kitchen and in the trolley loading area. The kitchen is supplied automatically via lifts and roller conveyors. The trolley loading area is supplied via 41 flow channels of the miniload.

In addition, Unitechnik was commissioned as a subcontractor in the "electric monorail system" package (Schierholz) with the control and guidance technology. In the inbound area, the incoming trolleys are fed into the handling process at two EMS infeed stations. The trolleys are emptied and washed. They are then transported by EMS to various stations and loaded for the next flight: duty-free items, blankets, headphones, drinks and, of course, food.
