The VOSS Group, based in Wipperfürth, Germany, stands for quality and innovation in line and connection technology for international vehicle and mechanical engineering.

VOSS Automotive GmbH, which specializes in the vehicle construction sector, develops and supplies lines, distributors, plug-in and screw systems for pneumatics, hydraulics, exhaust gases and fuel. Individual connection systems are developed for each vehicle and engine type. These then have to be delivered just-in-time to production plants worldwide.

This is where logistics comes into play. The newly built logistics center stocks the entire range. It consists of an automatic warehouse for small parts and a manual pallet warehouse. The automatic small parts warehouse (AKL) offers space for over 13,000 trays with double-deep storage. The three storage and retrieval machines transfer the trays to the central conveyor loop. This connects the storage lines, the miniload, the picking and packing stations. Picking is carried out according to the goods-to-man principle.
