"Automation check-up" ensures system availability

The Automation Check-up is a structured service for optimizing automated logistics systems. The three-stage process analyzes faults, implements targeted improvements and thus ensures greater productivity and stability in operation.

Stage 1: Analysis

In the first phase, Unitechnik takes a close look at past fault messages: Where is the problem in the system? What patterns can be identified? This analysis is supplemented by a software check-up, as outdated firmware or unused functions can also have a significant impact on performance. At the end, a concrete action plan is drawn up that clearly shows where and how to start - both technically and organizationally.

Stage 2: Implementation

Phase two involves implementation: Unitechnik's control experts adapt the software, carry out in-house tests if required and provide on-site support during the changeover. The close exchange with the customer is crucial, because only when theory and practice come together can the full potential of the optimization unfold.

Stage 3: Review

The third phase concludes with a precise before-and-after comparison of system availability. This reveals which improvements are already taking effect and where there is further potential.

"We help to identify weak points at an early stage and rectify them in a targeted manner. This avoids costly downtime, reduces unplanned downtime and significantly improves operational planning. At the same time, the teams on site are relieved because they can concentrate on their core tasks again," says Christian Stangier, Head of Customer Service, explaining the idea behind the Automation Check-up
