The Unitechnik Group has 50 years of experience in the planning and realization of air freight terminals. The spectrum ranges from automated air freight terminals to special vehicles for the IATA-compliant handling of ULDs. Strategic partners are AMOVA for complex cargo systems and DIMOS for intelligent vehicles.

We have further developed our UniWare warehouse management system specifically for air cargo terminals and adapted it to the special requirements of air cargo handling. UniWare-Cargo is the brain of an air cargo terminal and controls all material flows within the building: export, import and transit.

Modernization of air freight facilities

Unitechnik Systems is a specialist in the modernization of automated logistics systems. The racking and conveyor technology in these systems are often still in good condition after many years. The electrical equipment and IT systems have been struggling with problems over the years. Spare parts are no longer available, manufacturer support is terminated and new hardware components are not compatible.

Unitechnik Systems has been implementing the control and instrumentation technology for air freight systems and other logistics systems for decades. The modernization of these systems is one of Unitechnik's strengths. Excellent project management and conscientious quality control ensure short changeover periods and rapid restart of the system. Depending on the customer's requirements, we modernize the system during operation or as a "big bang" during a short shutdown phase.

Do you want to remain flexible when handling ULDs and still be IATA-compliant? We offer you vehicles, pallets and workstations. Everything you need to quickly equip an empty hall for handling air freight containers.

The highlight is the X-Mover. It is the only vehicle in the world that combines all functions for the transportation and handling of ULDs. It replaces the following vehicles:

Automatic freight loading

Unitechnik Automatisierungs GmbH has developed a solution for the automatic loading of ULD containers. This solution is based on a baggage loading robot and is characterized by a patented gripper hand. The robot was awarded the Berlin/Brandenburg Innovation Prize and recently won a competition organized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
