SIMATIC system changeover course to SIMATIC S7-1500 in the TIA Portal

Short title: TIA-SYSUP, Duration: 5 days

    Prerequisites:

      • STEP7 knowledge according to ST-PRO1
      • This blended learning course combines web-based training (WBT) on the Internet with a 5-day classroom course: You will receive the WBT "PROFINET" and "Industrial Ethernet" in preparation for the classroom part. This will increase your personal learning success in the classroom course.
      • You can use the available online entrance test to ensure that the course you have chosen matches your skills.

      Description/learning objective:

The Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) forms the working environment for integrated engineering of all automation devices - controllers, HMIs and drives.

In this course, we will teach you the main differences between SIMATIC S7-300/400 and SIMATIC S7-1500, the engineering tools SIMATIC Manager and TIA Portal as well as STEP 7 V5.x and STEP 7 based on TIA Portal. You will learn the project planning and advanced programming options of a SIMATIC S7-1500 automation system with the "TIA Portal" engineering platform.

After attending the course, you will be able to:

      • use the "TIA Portal" engineering platform efficiently
      • configure and program the components of the SIMATIC S7-1500 with the TIA Portal
      • carry out commissioning of TIA components
